Lae Firm NKW Group helps local police

Local Lae company NKW Group donated materials to Lae police to prevent illegal parking in the police car park by private vehicles.

NKW Holdings Ltd assisted the Lae police by providing line markers and chains to assist in identifying the police car park and the public car parks after their assistance was sought.

Police officer Vincent Diramo said the locally-owned company liked to help the community. “They supplied us with cone markers and plastic chains to identify the police car park and the public car parks,” Diramo said.

With our growing population and more traffic flow to and from the market, some people ended up using the police car park, Diramo explains. “Instead, commuters drive through and park their vehicles at the police car park making it difficult for police officers on duty.”

NKW Group is known for helping out in the local community whenever they can, from donating food, to helping local farmers or providing sporting sponsorship’s.
