We provide customs clearance services for all imports
and exports and for all types of cargoes from air freight,
sea freight and from break bulk, LCL, FCL, loose cargoes,
project cargoes and for any type of cargoes in any form,
shape and size. We understand the local laws, the various
tariffs that apply and have built up a network with the
port authorities and key government departments and
agencies to ensure that cargoes are cleared without
unnecessary costs, including penalties and storage costs.

We have two registered customs brokers based in Port
Moresby and Lae; with a combined experience of over
40 years of customs brokering experience, backed by expert
customs compilers ensuring that the correct tariffs are

applied, and goods are cleared off the wharf in a timely
manner, reducing unnecessary customs queries. This
team is managed by accomplished operational managers,
supervisors and accounts people ensuring that port
disbursements are paid on a timely basis.

Above all else, we understand and appreciate that
communication is a key part of our business and we
communicate with our customers from when we are
advised of an impending shipment, through to when the
goods are cleared off the port and delivered to door.

Sea Freight

in the country including SWIRES Shipping, ANL
Shipping, CMA-CGM and many others to obtain
the best and most competitive rates. We utilise our
global logistic partner companies and can bring
cargoes from anywhere around the world to provide a

Air Freight

Pacific Cargo Services is a major carrier of all types
of cargo to and from Papua New Guinea. We offer a
“One Stop Shop” logistics package, tailored to suit
importers and exporters moving consignments of any
size or any dimension.

As an airfreight agent, we provide multimodal
service in moving cargo world-wide. Our service
provides a reliable and committed freight forwarding
services for any type of consignment – no items are
too big or too small. Pacific Cargo Services provide
competitive freight rates and have specialized staff in
place providing fast and efficient pick-up and delivery
to any destination.

BRISBANE/ PNG FAK SERVICE

Pacific Cargo Services provides a FAK container
service from Brisbane to Lae and Port Moresby
twice monthly. Shipper’s letter of instructions can be
provided at any time you wish to make a booking.
